Eligibility Criteria
In most colleges, the only criteria to pursue UG courses is that the candidate must have cleared their 10+2 from a recognized board. The criteria differ from college to college. In some institutions, at least 50 percent of aggregate marks are compulsory in their Class 12 exams. A few colleges also have specific requirements from the candidates such as securing passing marks in English in Class 12 as a necessary criterion.
Some colleges also have an age bar on enrollments and 22 years has been fixed as the upper age limit for the aspiring candidates of the General or Other Backward Classes (OBC) category and 25 years for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) category.
